I am in a similar situation and need to travel. Applied for my AP on Apr/20/2010. I have put in an expedited request a week ago but still no response. Just booked an Infopass appointment for Feb/04/2011. Wanted to make it is fine and any suggestions on what I should carry with me.

FWIW, I think it has potential, maybe make it a bit darker and moodier, it looks a bit blown out in places. If I may be brutally honest I think the subject matter is much more interesting than the picture itself, but with some more work...

Sure can! See the tracker. There is at least one person who filed in Texas and has his/her EAD approval date before the Finger Printing date
I also had got my EAD way before my 1st FP - but that was in 2005

No. Most people are never on H-4 when they apply for H-1B. The only catch is that it might raise a suspicion if a person entered in H-4 status and immediately filed to change to H-1B, say within a couple of days. A difficult CIS officer might consider that this meant that the person entered by misrepresenting their true intention. However, given that there is a cap and the person couldn't start on H-1B until 10/1 anyway, that should be OK.

My current reporting structure with my employer is:
Client -> Prime Vendor -> Consultant X -> My employer
Another consultant is ready to transfer my visa and the reporting structure there is
Client -> Prime Vendor -> My employer
A prime vendor (not the same client) is also ready to transfer my visa
Client -> My employer
I am planning to transfer it to either (or both) of the above two companies. Will there be a problem in those two companies filing for a tranfer at (approx) the same time?
Is there a way I can ask an attorney directly (I am willing to pay for that service)

What a mean approach....what about people who have yet to apply EB3...guys when are we start supporting future EB appliers as illegals from mexico vote for candidates who support legalization of illegals..
Typical EB approved guy dont give hell to the one who follows...that needs to change and be taken care in all the future proposals coming up from IV..

I am currently in L1B visa , i am in US for 40 Months. The total period that i can be in US in L1B is 5 yrs .
I am planning to do my H1B this year (2008), having already elapsed 40 months, if i get a H1B will the period elapsed ( 40 months in L1B) be accounted or i will get the H1b for 3 yrs.

H1 has been approved for 2009 quota for a client A. it is almost one and half year and the visa stamping has not been done. The client A is no more interested and a new Client B is interested to offer the same position in a different location or at H1 petitioning employers location. The LCA has been filed for the Client B and may get approved in next couple of days. Is that okay to use this new client letter while going for H1B Visa stamping? This new client is not the one on whom the actual H1B petition is approved.
Question is When going for H1 B visa is it necessary to use the client letter that has been used when applying for H1B approval. Can the clients be different while going for Visa Stamping?
This is urgent as the visa stamping appointment is in a few days. And the attorneys suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

Hello everybody,
My lawyer mailed me photocopy of I-485 form ,EAD application and AP form
which she filed last month. I saw that my lawyer has enter my old address (Michigen ) by mistake. My current address is in Illinois. The G328 form mentions the Illinois address as my present address. I had already send my AR-11 mentioning my Illinois address as my new address before my I-485 was filed.
My worry is will the finger print notice,EAD, will come to Michigen address or Illinois address
Pls guide what should I do to change the address on 485 to my new address..

I agree with you both on the points raised, but what particularly interested me was the stat below and also given that 'the labour market traditionally lags behind any wider economic recovery'.

Bottomline is we are not in a L or U pattern( prolonged stagnation). Also given that the last quarter traditionally has a stronger retail growth due to the Holiday season, Whether it is a V or W shaped recovery is what remains to be seen.

Date when LC is filed if its in a category where LC is required. If its NIW or Scheduled A then PD is date I 140 is filed.
