No one cares how you exit. A lesser known fact is that most Mexicans who are here illegally catch a regular commercial flight when they visit their homes in Mexico.

I got stuck in FBI name check for over 2+ years (24+ months)... run out of

I'm looking for an attorney who is responsible and responsive, has been successful in filing writ of mandamus for clients to get the name check moving. I have another question if my I-140 is in appealed stage will my H1 b would be approved? If approved what are the chances of getting approval if i tranfer my H1b with the different company while I-140 is appealed with the existing company?

The Advance degree + 3 years of experience on H1B are not just a matter of fact formulation from the senators. It�s an effort to revert back to the 60�s through 80�s formula where the only way to immigrate to the US (at least for Engineers) was to pursue a master�s degree in the US and then adjust their status to a PR. There is a growing demand from academic institutions to revive this culture. America wants people to study here, specialize in evolving technologies and drive the technological innovation. Every day we see posts on this forum of folks wanting to include laws and regulations to fix the situation that they are in. We need to have a unified front with a common goal. May be we should learn from the �less educated� Latino community. They probably do not have the internet media to rally support but boy did they have their voice heard with ONE COMMON AGENDA.

I read in another forum that 90-day count starts from the received date.
I am not sure though!
Why is it that important? Before EAD was taking about 1.5-2 months. Now it will take a lot more, more than 90 days. I don't think now they will care about that 90 days thing. It wasn't a law requiring them to issue EAD in that period, they were just saying "if you haven't received in 90 days - call us" - that's all.

never knew they can be this fast. as the minimum i was seeing was 5-6 mnths. does this have anything to do with how bid the company is and all?
i have filed on the similar date and waiting for more than 6 mnths now to TSC regular processing.

I am working on EAD now, which is valid through 07/06/2012.
I have got a job offer from one of the top fortune 500 company recently. They are offering the job with a role of "Lead Technical Architect".
Following are the details from my labor:
Job Title: Programmer/ Analyst/Systems, Software/Engineer/Developer, or Related to IT
Reponsibility:
develop, create and modify general computer application software. Analysis user needs and design, develop software solutions. Design, develop, analyse and implement software and end user product. Coordinate various account projects with IT consultants; nurture close relationship with the major account customers by providing quality technical support and apply principles of computer science, engineering and mathematical analysis.
From the generic nature of the role resonsibility, I feel that the "Lead technical Architect" role will not be a misfit with the requirement of "Similar resposibility".
Can you kindly let me know if you see any violation of the EAD porting requirement in terms of similar responsibilities?

Next time, please ask a specific question which elicits yes/no response like his position on SKIL bill and if he would vote in support of it. No more spin on illegal immigration to not support legal immigration. Then it will show how supportive of he is for immigration.
After 9/11, former INS functions of border security went to Dept. of Homeland Security. USCIS is solely for immigration processing only. This reorganization should have improved performance of USCIS. Instead, we see the more delays, hear more stories, and fudged measurement criteria to show USCIS in good light to the Congress inspite of the poor performance.

Update on H1B Extension
Applied back in August and got RFE last month. Replied RFE with copy of 485 receipt and copy MTR approval and got 3 years extension until 2013.

Yes, the colors, contrast and clarity that is possible - and more or less expected - is getting unreal indeed. It gets in the way of the content of the picture sometimes, too much nit-picking over Photoshop stuff...
One other suggestion! YOu may want to build a "bird mask" using the select color tool. and then apply that above the NI'd image.
This will some of the noise in the bird but will add detail in the bird. The select color range tool will give a semi transparent selection so it will kind of give you the best of both worlds than a straight select tool.
Also you could use Q and do a qick mask then use a semi transparent brush to select the bird to do the same things as color range select.
